Tokyo, July 31—Morrison clenched Liberia’s spot in the Women’s 100mH semifinals after a solid 13.00 second run. She placed sixth in her heat which consisted of the current Women’s 100mH world record holder.  The top four runners from each heat automatically qualified for the semifinals along with the next four fastest times between all heats. Morrison’s time placed her in the top 24, which means we will see her rep Liberia again tomorrow Sunday Aug 1.

“Well I got that last spot in the semis so [I feel] pretty good,” Morrison told Go Team Liberia.

Congrats to Morrison on her amazing accomplishment for Liberia. Listen to her post-race thoughts below.
