The countdown to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games has officially begun. From July 14-30, 2028, the world’s best athletes will take the largest sports stage to compete for gold.
LA holds a unique place in Olympic history. The city has hosted the Games twice before. First in 1932 and again in 1984. LA28 will mark the third time being in the City of Angels.
LA is also notable for the 1984 Liberia team as this was the country’s first time sending a female athlete, Dr. Grace Ann Dinkins, to compete. As excitement builds, one of the most important actions fans can take right now is registering for the ticket draws.

How to register for the LA28 ticket draw
The LA28 ticket draw system ensures fair access to events across sports and venues, giving Liberians at home and across the diaspora a real chance to witness history live and in person.
Although the first ticket drop happened in April, where more than four million tickets were sold, fans still have an opportunity to secure tickets.
First things first, create an account if you haven’t already. If you registered in January, you will be automatically entered for the second drop assuming you did not reach your 12 ticket purchase limit. If you haven’t registered, the second registration period is now open until next month, July 22.

Having a profile is the only way to be entered into the second draw and have access when the tickets go on sale this August. Once tickets drop, you will find out via email if you have been assigned a purchasing time slot. Then, purchase tickets during your specific time. Keep an eye out because you do not want to miss it and, even during your time slot, tickets sell out very quickly — in a matter of seconds.
It’s possible the tickets you want might already be sold out, so have a backup list of events you’d like to attend.
